AeroClass operates aeroclass.pk as an aviation learning, live-class booking and consulting platform. This policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, how it is handled and the choices available to you.
Information we collect
- Account and profile details, such as your name, email address, username, role and password-related account records.
- Learning records, including enrolments, course progress, quiz results, certificates and instructor interactions.
- Booking information, such as selected subject, instructor, date and time, contact details and booking status.
- Enquiry and application information submitted through contact, student or instructor forms, including your phone number, message and professional details.
- Technical and security data, such as IP address, browser and device information, timestamps, login activity, cookies and security events.
- Files or other content you choose to upload through an available platform feature.
How we use information
We use information to create and protect accounts; provide courses, assessments, certificates and instructor services; manage bookings and consulting enquiries; send service, security and administrative messages; provide support; prevent fraud and abuse; maintain records; improve the platform; and comply with applicable legal or regulatory obligations.
Legal and operational basis
Depending on the context, we process information because it is necessary to provide a service you request, because you have given consent, because we have a legitimate operational or security need, or because record-keeping is required by applicable law. You may withdraw consent for optional processing, but this does not affect processing already completed.
Cookies
We use essential cookies for login, account security, preferences, course progress, forms and bookings. Some embedded services may set their own cookies. Where optional analytics or marketing cookies are introduced, we will provide any consent controls required by applicable law. Blocking essential cookies may prevent account, learning or booking functions from working.
Service providers and data sharing
We use specialist providers to operate the platform, including WordPress and hosting infrastructure, Ultimate Member for accounts, LearnDash for learning records, Bookly for appointments, WPForms for enquiries, email-delivery services, security and activity-monitoring tools, and backup storage. These providers may process information only as needed to supply their services. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the platform, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell personal information.
International processing
Some technology providers may process or store information outside Pakistan. Where this occurs, we use the provider’s contractual and security safeguards and limit the information shared to what is needed for the service.
How long we keep information
We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, account administration, aviation training and competency records, bookings, dispute resolution, security, backup rotation and applicable legal obligations. Retention periods vary by record type. Backup copies are removed through scheduled rotation unless they must be retained for recovery, security or legal reasons.
Security
We use HTTPS, access controls, role-based permissions, backups, firewall and malware protection, logging and other safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your password confidential and contact us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
Your choices and rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete personal information associated with you, object to or restrict certain uses, or request a portable copy where applicable. Some information may need to be retained for training, regulatory, security or legal purposes. You can update available profile information through your account.
Children
The platform is intended for aviation students, professionals, instructors and organisations. A person who cannot legally consent to data processing in their jurisdiction should use the platform only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.
